Take 1: Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest lets us in on a secret: there’s no end to a story world based on theme park rides.
Take 2: Best viewed as a sequence of crazy stunts beaded on a CGI string, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest has a story and characters, but I can’t remember it, or them, very well.
