As a writer-reader-parent-teacher, the Curator knows all of us are busy, so respect your scarce leisure time to enjoy a better life.
The Curator also loves movie blockbusters and celebrates taking birdwalks around them to find obscure, occasionally brilliant material along the edges of popular culture.
Who is the Curator?
My name is Garrett Chaffin-Quiray, and I earned a BA and MA from the USC Film School and the MFA in Creative Writing from San Diego State University. I once worked on a computer help desk and then had an adventure in the dotcom boom and bust before I became a stay-at-home dad.
Since 2005, I’ve been teaching college classes and giving community workshops about literature, writing, and movies, and I’ve published two books.
